Question: YA book from late 80's or early 90's about a kidnapped teenage girl

Home » Children's Books » #21040

Asked by koji on Wed 08, Mar 2017 01:19am :
A girl is kidnapped and wakes up being held in a small room (concrete or
brick) with just a little window. Throughout the book she slowly remembers
the events leading up to her kidnapping, including a fight with her friends
when she finds out her two best friends have started dating, leaving her to
be the third wheel.

In the end it might have been her friends that kidnapped her? Not sure.
Also not sure if she ever gets out.

Hey! It wasn't The Twisted Window, but that list was really helpful and it
was on it--- The Girl In the Box https://www.librarything.com/work/279903

Thank you so much! This has been bothering me for awhile and I haven't been
able to find it.
